A brace by Christian Eriksen and two other goals in the second half produced by Harry Kane and Moussa Dembele, were all Tottenham Hotspur needed Saturday afternoon to earn the maximum points in their match against Sunderland.

Sunderland, through Patrick van Aanholt registered the first goal on 41st minute at White Hart Lane, with Eriksen firing back a minute later to cancel the lead.

The second half however saw the North Londoners dominate their hapless opponents who  remain 18th on the table.  Tottenham, now 4th  however created a four point lead over West Ham, who will tackle Newcastle United later today.
