Damaturu blasts: 16 people killed

No fewer than 16 people died this morning in the bomb blasts in Damaturu, Yobe state today.

Many were also injured and  rushed to Sani Abacha Hospital .

Multiple witnesses said the explosions were caused by  suicide bombers at a mosque inside Buhari Estate

A spokesman for the State Emergency Management Agency, (SEMA) said  one of the suicide bombers came near the mosque, hugged one of the boys around and blew up himself and others at the scene.
