A national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Ogbonnaya Onu, in Abuja on Wednesday expressed optimism that Nigeria would regain its greatness.
Onu, who stated this in a message to mark the Eid el-Kabir, urged Nigerians to recognise that any achievement got through collective effort would bring enduring fulfilment to all.
In the message signed by him, he said that the task of building a great nation required the best from every Nigerians, adding that though the ‘’road may be rough, the climb steep and the journey tasking, the nation will succeed’’.
“We should strengthen our resolve to be our brother’s keeper for there is always strength in unity. We should never forget that any achievement through collective effort brings enduring fulfilment to all.
“I am confident that if we rededicate ourselves to those virtues that bind rather than divide our people, surely the future will most certainly be bright and great,’’ Onu said.
“On this important occasion of Eid el-Kabir celebration, I urge all Nigerians to rededicate themselves to the worthy attributes of love for country and faith in our collective ability to build a new, united and prosperous Nigeria,’’ he added.
