El-Rufai Advises New Commissioners To Work Hard

Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State has charged the newly sworn in council members to work extra hard in order to meet up with the lost years of development in the state.

 

El-Rufai, who gave the charge today during the opening session of the first executive council meeting at Sir Kashim Ibrahim House Kaduna, said there is no alternative to hard work and focused leadership.

 

According to the governor, Kaduna state has lost eight years of development under the past administration which also left N 74 billion debt.

 

While expressing optimism that the council would not disappoint the people, he also urged them to work together as a team to ensure deliverance of the dividends of change and that the eight million people of Kaduna state depend on their efforts to make things better.

 

Governor El-Rufai also called on the council members to imbibe the culture of reading to be conversant with the happenings around them as well as boost their knowledge in administration and service to the people.

 

He pledged to use all the resources within the means of his administration to develop the state in the interest of the people.
