A helicopter crashed into the lagoon in Oworonshoki, in Nigeria’s commercial capital Lagos on Wednesday, killing three persons and injuring three, a spokesman for Nigeria’s National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) said.
Ibrahim Farinloye said the accident happened around 3.30 p.m. (1430 GMT) in the Oworonshoki area of the city.
A rescue operation was ongoing.
