Five persons were killed in an explosion at a gas station in Suleja, Niger State, central Nigeria.
Mr Abubakar Yahaya, Police Area Commander,said the police were immediately deployed to the scene to safeguard further loss of lives and property.
“Some staff of the company said three staff and two customers lost their lives, while those injured were rushed to Sabon Wuse General Hospital.”
Dr Adedokun Abdulaziz, the Medical Director of the Suleja General Hospital, said that two injured persons, with high degree burns were referred to a specialised hospital in Zaria.
