Will Barcelona be able to defeat Italian giants, Juventus in Saturday’s UEFA Champions League final?
The answer will certainly be known at the end of the game that will start 19.45 at Olympiastadion in Berlin, Germany.
Many football pundits think that Barca will win, what with their attacking trio of magic maker, Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez. Indeed, 37 year old Juventus goalkeeper, Gianluigi Buffon describes Messi as an ‘extra-terrestrial’ who plays among us humans.
Victory will make the Spanish champions complete a treble for the season, having already won the League and Copa del Rey.
But can any one really write off Juventus? Having won the Serie A and the Coppa Italia, they are also chasing a treble for the season.
They also have an impressive attacking squad and a midfielder, called Paul Pogba, described as ‘the hottest property’ in European football.
Juventus are also are hungry for the trophy, having beaten defending Champion, Real Madrid on their way to the Berlin final.
Juventus have not won the Champions League since their win on penalties over Ajax in 1996. They failed in their last two finals appearances – in 1997 against Borussia Dortmund and again in 1998 when they faced Real Madrid.
So which team will win tomorrow: Juventus or Barcelona? Let’s share your analysis and prediction
