Several soldiers die in Jos barracks explosion

Between three and five soldiers from the Nigerian Army 3 armored division,have died in the bomb explosion which rocked Rukuba barracks in Jos, capital of Plateau state, in central Nigeria.

The explosion at the Maxwell Khobe Cantonment killed the soldiers while working in the armory.

Several soldiers were also injured as they re-parking bombs in the armory.

The Deputy Director of Army Public Relation, Col. Texas Chukwu, confirmed the incident, but he was not forthcoming on the number of victims.
