A PDP councillor has been arrested in the northern Nigerian state of Jigawa over the killing of one Sani Garba,an APC supporter.
Police Spokesman, Abdu Jinjiri said the killing happened in Garki local council area.
He said the suspect, Lawan Manya, who is a councillor in Garki, was arrested with his two accomplices after stabbing the deceased to death on the eve of the governorship election in the state.
The accused will soon be charged to court, he said.
