Venus Williams knocked out of Dubai Open

Venus Williams campaign at the WTA Dubai Open has been cut short by Czech Lucie Safarova.

The 11th seeded Safarova beat the 8th seeded Venus in two straight sets, 6-4, 6-2
in the third round.
