Dr. Doyin Okupe, the senior special assistant on media to President Goodluck Jonathan has responded to the legion of critics of the N21.2 billion war chest raised by President Jonathan for the February election.

In a new tweet today, Okupe said Jonathan will be relying neither on the money or power of incumbency to trounce his main challenger in the 14 February election. Rather, he said, President Jonathan’s weapon lies in God.

“PGej is not relying on Power of incumbency,Money or Man.His trust is in Jehova who said”I’m d God of all flesh is there anything 2 hard 4 me”, he tweeted.

On New Year’s day, Okupe had also told doomsday analysts of the coming polls that there would be no violent fall out from the election.

“1 thing will not, 2 certainly will, happen in 2015. Nigeria WILL not break.D Nigerian economy will not collapse. President Jonathan will win”, he tweeted.

His latest tweet on the power of God or Jehovah has expectedly elicited reactions from his followers on the social media network, some of whom questioned why Okupe is now reposing trust in God, rather the hefty money President Jonathan had raised.
