Adeboye urged all members of his church to fast and pray for 40 days this year beginning from 2 January, 2015.

“This year, all you need is to charge up your battery by fasting for 40 days only. Those who will fast continuously for 20 days and night will have covered the 40 days. Those who will be fasting once at a time, if you miss one day, you will repay it with two days,” he said.
