Lamido's chief of staff, 2 others resign

Politics is truly in the air in Nigeria as the gale of resignations lands in the northern state of Jigawa.

Alhaji Aminu Ringim, the Chief of Staff to Jigawa Governor, Sule Lamido,and two other officials on Monday resigned their appointments.

The governor’s Director of Press Affairs, Umar Kyari, confirmed the resignations in Dutse.

Kyari named other officials as the Permanent Secretary, Dutse Capital Development Authority, Yau Babura and the Special Adviser on Youth and Student Matters, Umar Danjani.

According to him, the three officials resigned to contest the 2015 elections.

He said their resignation letters which were channeled through the Office of the Secretary to the State Government had been approved by the governor.
