Brazilian midfielder Hernanes rescued a point for Inter Milan with a stoppage time equaliser against Napoli in a Serie A match played at the San Siro on Sunday night.

The Nerazzurri remain without a win in four league matches now though, as Walter Mazzari’s side remain in midtable, 10 points behind leaders Juventus following the 2-2 draw against his former employers.

The first half saw Camilo Zuniga denied by Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic in the 12th minute while Hernanes saw an effort come off the Napoli post five minutes before the interval.

There was little between both sides in the second half until Jose Callejon broke the deadlock for Napoli with 11 minutes to go when he latched on to a long throw-in that Inter failed to deal with.

Napoli’s lead lasted only three minutes however as Colombian midfielder Fredy Guarin got on the end of Rodrigo Palacio’s flicked pass to equalise for the home side.

Callejon thought he had won it for Napoli when he volleyed in his second of the night in the 90th minute only for Hernanes to equalise for Inter, heading in a Dodo cross.
