Unidentified gunmen unleashed heavy attacks on Adogo Police Station, in the Ajaokuta Local Government Area of Kogi State, Sunday night, the spokesman of the Nigerian police, Emmanuel Ojukwu has revealed.

Ojukwu suspected the attackers came to steal arms from the station, but they were repelled by the policemen on duty.

However, the area has been reinforced while frantic efforts are ongoing to track-down the fleeing hoodlums.
