Lagos – Mrs Queen Ahneva, the Managing Director, St. Café Vanessa, on Wednesday, said the organisation is investing N150 million in a cafe with cultural, technology and international ambience to boost tourism in the country.

Ahneva told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos that the cafe would incorporate

a culture gallery where guests would be exposed to artifacts and given a treat from time to time.

She said that the gesture was to re-position the tourism image of Lagos state and make it a preferred tourism destination in Africa.

“The cafe will be officially launched on June 28.

“In order to bring the cafe to international standard over N150 million has been spent to achieve a balance between indigenous cultural and international aesthetics.

“The money injected was to make the place a one-stop destination for local and international tourists,” Ahvena said.

She said that the cafe included pravada club, lounge, conference room, waterfall and cafe venessa to suit local and international needs.

“Coffee and dishes will be available at the cafe venessa while pravada club is for dancing and relaxation,” she explained.

According to her, the conference room will occupy more than 118 people, designed specifically for holding seminar, workshop, Annual General Meetings (AGM) and other activities.

“The initiative is to make local and foreign visitors experience the extravaganza of local and international hospitality.

“These will make them to feel at home and make the place a one-stop destination for hospitality and entertainment experience,” she said.

The managing director assured of maximum security and that the workers were well trained in

delivering outstanding services that would suit local and international visitors.
