‎The Liberian National Road Fund NRF has emerged as the best State Owned Entity (SOE) in income generation, in a report by the General Audit Commission (GAC).

‎In the second, verified report, of the annual audit recommendation, that covered 62 state owned entities, with their programs reports up to August 2025, embedded in the GAC Strategic Plan 2021 to 2025, signed by the country’s Auditor General P. Garswa Jackson, NRF scored 93%, followed by Liberia Maritime Authority, 91% compliance ratings.

‎The audit annual report, involves meticulous planning and execution, with follow ups, with recommendations to key stakeholders, including the audited entities, the Presidency, development partners and the public.

‎The rigorous processes were conducted in line with section 2. 1.8 F of the GAC Act of 2014.

‎The annual audit report covered August 1 2024 to August 31, 2025, on 62 State Owned Entities, including NRF.
‎NRF was the overall best SOE, with a Green Compliant 93% implementation rating.

‎The remarkable result by NRF is the outcome of a dedicated management team headed by its CEO, Madam Joseta Neufville-Wento.

‎She has just hosted an Africa Road Fund summit from November 17 to 21 in Monrovia, with 35 African Road Fund CEOs in attendance. The summit was declared opened by President Boakai and was spectacularly successful.
