Exhibits recovered from the thugs

Over 33 hoodlums and thugs have been arrested by police at different locations in Kano, through an intelligence-led clearance operation.

Assorted types of dangerous weapons were also recovered from the hoodlums who have been terrorising residents of the ancient commercial city in recent times.

They were arrested within five days of an intense raid by Tactical Teams deployed by the Commissioner of Police, Mr.  Ibrahim Adamu Bakori.

The teams led by the O/C Anti-Daba Squad, CSP Bashir Musa Gwadabe, carried out the operations within flash points in Kano state metropolis from April 23 to 28, 2025.

The operations which were conducted based on actionable intelligence resulted in the arrest of 33 suspected thugs (Yan Daba) with dangerous weapons, illicit drugs and other robbed properties recovered as exhibits.

They are being charged for offences related to armed robbery, possession of dangerous weapons, and illicit drug dealings.
