Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Senator Abubakar Bagudu, arrived in Baku, Azerbaijan, on Tuesday to represent President Bola Tinubu at the 17th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organisation, which begins on Thursday in Khankhendi.
Bagudu was received by the Advisor to the Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan, Mr Asgar Alakbrov, and the Charge d’Affaires to the Embassy of Nigeria in Tehran, Iran, Mr Omar Abdulrashid Lawal.
President Tinubu, currently on a state visit to St. Lucia in the Caribbean, is scheduled to travel to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, for the 17th BRICS Summit on Sunday.
