Mudashiru Obasa has been impeached as Speaker of Lagos State House Speaker.
He was impeached on Monday.
Mojisola Miranda, Nee Ojora (Apapa State Constituency), a former Chief Whip of the House, was voted in to replace him immediately.
She was sworn-in immediately to lead the 40-member House.
The lawmakers accused Obasa of “multiple statutory and financial infractions involving more than N40 billion.”
