Minister of Justice and Solicitor-General of the government of Alberta, Canada, Kelechi Madu, QC, has stirred the honets’ nest. Apart from calling for the release of Nnamdi Kanu, arrow head of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), he waved off Nigeria’s Attorney General, Abubakar Malami, SAN as a disgrace to the rule of law.

According to Madu in a statement, quoted by gwg.ng, “I urge the Nigerian government led by Muhammadu Buhari to ensure the safety of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra. I urge his immediate release.

“Reports suggest that Mazi Kanu was abducted in Kenya with the active collaboration of the Kenyan government led by President Uhuru Kenyatta. If true, Nigeria and Kenya violated international law and the rule of law that is supreme in their respective countries.

“I call upon the international community, and in particular, @USin Nigeria, @UKinNigeria, @CanHCNigeria, @GERinNigeria, @lsraelin Nigeria and @EUinNigeria to use all their power, including diplomacy, to ensure the safety and release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

“I further call on the leaders of these nations to ensure real consequences for this arbitrary violation of internationally accepted democratic norms and rules that govern civilized people, but above all, the arbitrary violations of Mazi Kanu’s fundamental human rights.

“Nigeria is burning, and the people of Nigeria, except those who are holding the country down wants out. You cannot destroy the hope and aspiration of a people destined for greatness, and expect them to bow down in servitude.

“You cannot destroy a generation of people and expect them to not fight for their freedom. The power of the gun, state-sponsored terrorism will not achieve peace or the preservation of Nigeria.

“The Igbos and other ethnic groups in Nigeria who are calling for Nigeria to be renegotiated do not seek violence or war. They seek peace. They seek progress and the advancement of their people. They seek fairness, safety, equity, and justice for their people.

“They seek the opportunity for their children to grow up and achieve their God-given abundant potential. They seek the rise of a people with the work ethic, intellect and capacity to be a truly global superpower on the continent of Africa. They seek dignity over inhumane treatment. They seek life over death.

“Friends of the black world must unite and liberate the people of Nigeria from this bondage and from the claws of corrupt and inept politicians who have no business being near the corridor of Nigeria’s political power.

“The Attorney General of Nigeria, Abubakar Malami is a disgrace to the rule of law, and not worthy to be an officer of the court. He has shown himself to be a bigot who does not understand what it means to live in a pluralistic society governed by the dictates of the rule of law,” he said on the rearrest of Nnamdi Kanu.

“Finally, I must caution the present leaders of Nigeria to act in the best interests of the whole people of Nigeria. Since the inception of this government, and so far they have not been acting in all of Nigeria’s best interests”.

This guy has continued to desecrate the office of Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice. Abubakar Malami is so unworthy of the position donated to him by the Chief Herdsman, Muhammadu Buhari. They are both unworthy and unfit to lead even cattle. To descend so low and insult other tribes and then chicken away from boldly standing up to those who are now challenging him just showed that Malami is a coward. His days of reckoning are around the corner when he will be charged and put away for the billions he has stolen. An unfit lawyer minted in the quota system, merit-ignored and crooked practice of the North, Malami’s days are numbered. He has delivered the errands Muhammadu Buhari sent him even beyond the script given to him by Buhari. They will both go down in ignominy.

The same Foolani who cannot contain Boko Haram and cannot stop nor curtail herdsmen who are killing innocent farmers in the South while bearing AK47 with Buhari’s approval when their victims are not allowed to bear cutlass should be prepared to face the International Criminal court (ICC). Buhari, Malami, and their agents can enter holes to hide, but they will be brought out and prosecuted. Go and ask Charles Taylor and Bosnian leader Ratko Mladic on charges of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes including terrorizing the civilian population of the Bosnian capital Sarajevo. Buhari is now terrorizing Yoruba and Igbo tribes and conducting open ethnic cleansing in Southern parts of Nigeria.

The people who have been running Nigeria since the departure of oyinbo in 1960 have turned the country into a grave yard of hopes and aspirations. For 60 years all they have done is turn themselves into demolition squad destroying all the good things that the British left behind. They have pushed Nigerians off the road of human advancement. The entire population of Nigeria are being poisoned with fumes from generators. Ordinary Nigerians cannot afford to fly abroad for medical treatment like Buhari and the members of the political class.
