Only 5 out of 20 LGAs left to be declared: Dapo Abiodun still winning

Again the All progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Prince Dapo Abiodun has won at the Vice President Prof Yemi Osinbajo’s local government (Ikenne) and his own local government (Remo North).

Abiodun defeated his opponent in the same Senatorial District, Senator Buruji Kashamu of People’s Democractic Party with landslide votes.

Akinlade of Allied People’s movement (APM) took second and Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka(GNI) of African Democratic Congress (ADC)took third in the local governments with 4,987 and 6,553, 947 and 653 respectively.

Meanwhile GNI on his part won in his local government in landslide votes of 15,272 while Akinlade came second with 7,401. Dapo Abiodun came third with 2,657 and Kashamu with 529 in Imeko Afon.

Other Results from Egbado and Abeokuta North Favour Akinlade with 13,622 and 16,708 respectively while Dapo has 8,804 and 12,130 respectively, GNI also has 9,935 and 10,453 respectively and Kashamu with 1,721 and 931 votes respectively.

Ogun waterside

Election did not hold in Igbosere of Ogun waterside due to later arrival of INEC official, snatching of ballot boxes and sporadic shooting by military men which created fears in the heart of the electorate.

Also votes were cancelled at Ago-Owu of Abeokuta North and Ward 10,unit 6 of Obafemi Owode due to over voting.
