Senator Godswill Akpabio on Saturday recorded massive win for his party, the All Progressives Congress, APC in his polling unit, Ukana West Ward 2, Unit 9, in Essien Udim Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.
Akpabio, a former governor of Akwa Ibom is seeking a second term to represent Akwa Ibom North-West District in the Senate in the election.
The senator scored 1, 533 votes, to four votes scored by Chris Ekpenyong of Peoples Democratic Party who was his main challenger.
Also, President Muhammadu Buhari won at the unit with 1, 553, as against 11 votes scored by the opposition PDP.
