The Sultan of Sokoto, HIS Eminence Alhaji Saad Abubakar has said he looks forward to hosting the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye to a prayer session in Sokoto, seat of the Caliphate.
The Sultan disclosed this when he received the Regional Pastor of RCCG, Region 18, Pastor Ola Adejubee. Pastor Adejubee, who was at the Sultan’s palace with his wife, Abosede and some leaders of the Region, were there to fashion out ways of consolidating the existing cordial relationship between RCCG churches in the Region and the Sultanate.

It would be recalled that Northwest part of Nigeria has been calme and devoid of herdsmen/farmers clashes except in Zamfara where there have been little skirmishes. This has been attributed to the peaceful co-existence between the Muslim community and their Christian counterparts.
Pastor Adejubee presented Alhaji Abubakar with a Bible and a book, “21 Leadership Secrets of Pastor E. A. Adeboye” while the Sultan gave copies of his speeches to the Region.
