Governor Akinwumi Ambode of Lagos State has appealed to members of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC to unite behind Mr. Jide Sanwo-olu, who beat him to the party’s 2019 gubernatorial ticket on Tuesday.
Speaking during a press confrence he addressed in reaction to his loss of the ticket for second term, the governor noted that APC is a great party while he congratulated the winner of the APC primaries
He also promsed to ensure a smooth transition while enjoining all party members to ensure the success of Mr. Sanwo-Olu in the forthcoming 2019 election.
