Motunrayo Adeoye

Nigerians mourned the passage of Aisha Abimbola, an actress, last week. Just as the dust was about to settle, another star flickered out on Friday 1 June 2018 from the movie sector, Alhaja Motunrayo Adeoye. She died in Ibadan the Oyo State capital.

She died in her Akobo-Ojurin residence, Ibadan as a result of prolonged chronic ulcer.

She hailed from a royal house in Oyo town. Adeoye retired as a Studio Engineer at BCOS, Ibadan in 2010 to face full time acting.

She was buried at her Ibadan residence on Friday according to Islamic rites.
