Nigeria’s home-based Super Eagles football team on Sunday sails into the semifinal of ongoing African Nations Championships after coming from behind to beat their Angolan counterpart 2-1 in Tangiers.
The Angolan team went in front in the 55th minute and all hope seem lost for the Super Eagle until Anthony Okpotu equalised in the 91st minute.
New entrants, Gabriel Okechukwu, scored the winning goal for the Super Eagles in the extra time.
Super Eagles will face Sudan in the semi-final of the competition.
