The remains of Deaconess Atim David Joshua Etuk ( mother of Ubong David Etuk, one time Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Project in Akwa Ibom State), who died at the age of 70 is scheduled to be buried on Wednesday 6 December 2017. This will be after a funeral service to be conducted by Qua Iboe Church , Obontong,Nsit Ibom Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.. Interment and reception will hold at the deaceased’s family house in Ikot Idem Nsit,off Enen Nsit road,Nsit Ibom Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.

Thw late Deaconess Etuk who is survived by her husband Chief David Joshua Etuk and eight children was in her life time s a devout Christain teacher, headmistrees and a community development activist. Her demise has attracted reactions and from far and wide,

In a condolence message he personnly signed and addressed to Etuk, the Governor of Enugu State Rt.Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi described Deaconess Etuk as ‘’ a notable headmistrees whose teaching and influence moulded many characters’’. Also in his messege to the family,the immediate past Governor of Akwa Ibom State and current Senate Minority Leader, Senator Godswill Akpabio described the deaceased as a special mother whose void is difficult to fill and children’s giant strides in their areas of endeavor as a testimony of her good works while alive.

In the same vein the Special Adviser to President Mohammadu Buhari on media & publicity, Mr Femi Adesina enjoined the family to take solace in the great things their matriarch did to add value to the society in her life time and make sure such legacies are not buried. Akwa Ibom State Deputy Governor, Mr Moses Ekpo in his condolence tasked the family to take solace in the fact that lives are governed by times and season that this is God’s appointed time for the deaceased to depart this world. Well over 500 very important personalities have sent condolences to the family

According to Etuk, over 5,000 people are expected during the burial ceremony as invitations have been extended to them.
