Still basking in the resolution of its over 14 months leadership crisis through the Supreme Court judgment of last Wednesday, Nigeria’s main opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party,PDP has served notice of its expanded National Caucus, Board of Trustees (BoT), and National Executive Committee (NEC) meetings.

In a statement on Saturday signed by two of its chieftains, Sen. Ben Ndi Obi  and Amb. Aminu Wali, the opposition party said its expanded caucus meeting will hold on Monday 17, July 2017 while the party’s Board Of Trustees meeting will hold on 18th July 2017.

In the same vein, the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) has been scheduled to hold on July 18th.

The statement reads: “This is to inform all members of the above stated Organs of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), that the Meeting of the Organs have been scheduled as follows: National Caucus (Expanded) (on  Monday, 17 July, 2017  at  8:00Pm)”

Those invited  include Former Presidents and Vice Presidents, PDP Governors, National Executive Committee (NEC) members, Board of Trustees (BoT) members, National Assembly members, former PDP Governors, former PDP Ministers and all former National Officers of the Party.

The Board of Trustees (BoT) will hold Tuesday, 18 July, 2017 at 11:00Am while the National Executive Committee (NEC) on Tuesday, 18 July, 2017 at 2:00Pm

The party added that all the meetings will take place at Wadata Plaza, its national secretariat in Wuse Zone 5, Abuja.
