Obanure, Redeemed Asst General Overseer, dies

Pastor Olu Obanure, one of the Assistant General Overseers of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, is dead. He passed on in the early hours of Tuesday 2 May 2017. He reportedly slumped at a public function. He was 66.

When he was alive, he was in charge of the West African coast. He operated from Ghana.

Many members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God have dearly missed him. Some wrote on social media: “Rest in peace daddy till the resurrection morning. May God comfort mummy and all you left behind.”
