Bala Mohammed, the immediate past minister of Federal Capital Territory, FCT was arrested by operatives of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on Monday evening, this magazine has learnt.

EFCC has been investigating the former Minister over alleged involvement in a series of multibillion-naira frauds relating to one of his sons, as well as former First Lady Patience Jonathan in the past few months.

Also, the anti graft agency, according to reports have also seized houses belonging to Mohammed in Abuja. He is being detained at the Abuja office of the anti graft agency as at the time of writing this report.
