Police, robbers in shootout in Port Harcourt.

Business and social activities around  Psychiatric Road axis in Obio-Akpor local Government area, a suburb of Port Harcourt,Rivers State Capital were brought to a halt  today as suspected armed hoodlums engaged the anti-robbery squad in a shootout for several hours.

Criminality  has been on rise in the state. Sometimes, rival cult gangs  fight for supremacy,  leading to scores of death in the local governments of Ahoada East,Ahoada West,Ogba/Egbema Ndoni, Gokana,Khana,Ikwerre,Asari-Toru.
