Bukola Saraki update: Trial continues tomorrow

The first prosecution witness in the trial of Senate President Bukola Saraki over false assets declaration at the Code of Conduct Tribunal in Abuja, the Nigerian capital,  will continue his testimony tomorrow.

The Assets Declaration Forms of Saraki were tendered and identified by the witness.

The defence said it is reserving its objections.

The Tribunal admitted all the six Assets Declaration Forms filled by Saraki as exhibits 1 to 6.

Paul Usoro, standing for Saraki  however emphasised that he reserved his objections to the documents.  Kanu Agabi who arrived late to the court in his  humorous manner asked for adjournment of the trial.

Jacobs said he is not opposed to adjournment till tomorrow. Usoro asked for longer adjournment.

Chairman of the tribunal  Umar however said the trial should continue tomorrow to enable the prosecution conclude with his first witness.
