Hillary Clinton was the lone star in the US primaries third Super Tuesday, winning all the states in contention. She won Florida, North Carolina, Ohio, Illinois, Missouri.

Ecstatic Hillary tweeted the victory:

She now leads rival Senator Bernie Sanders with 1561 delegates. Sanders has 800. She needs to win 2,383 delegates to win nomination. There are still 2,404 delegates available for grabs in the remaining races.

On the Republican side, Donald Trump leads with 623 delegates, followed by Senator Ted Cruz, with 363.

Marco Rubio with 168 delegates has dropped out of the race after losing Florida to Trump.

Kasich who won Ohio, has 138 delegates so far. A Republican nominee must have 1,237 delegates.
It is still a long night as 1134 delegates are available for grabs.
