Senator David Mark woke up today to offer a thanksgiving service to God for clinching a fifth term victory in the rerun election in Benue South district.
INEC today, amidst protest declared him the winner of the election with 84,192 votes, while his opponent, Daniel Onjeh won 71, 621 votes.
On Twitter, the election in the district known as Zone C, in Benue has been trending since yesterday. And it is no wonder that the medium is also being used to congratulate him over his victory.
Messages have come from his supporters and notably former governor of the state, Gabriel Suswam, former military president, Ibrahim Babangida, who also was Mark’s leader, the All Progressives Congress and Senator Ben Murray-Bruce.
