Boko Haram: Germany backs MNJTF with $15m

Visiting German President Joachim Gauck has announced in Abuja a donation of $15million to the regional effort, the Multinational Joint Task Force, MNJTF to battle Boko Haram.

Speaking through an interpreter, during a meeting with President Buhari, Gauck condoled Nigeria for the recent terror attacks in the country.

He commended Buhari for his approach against Boko Haram, and pledged more support of his country towards defeating the terrorists.

He announced $15 million support to the MNTJF and called for renewal of trust and upholding the rule of law in the country.

According to him, Nigeria is playing an important role in the African continent.
