Bad weather forces British Airways London flight to land in Nigeria

A British Airways flight from London to South Africa was forced to land in Abuja, Nigeria early Tuesday morning because of bad weather in the former apartheid enclave.

Sources at Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport told TheNEWS that the plane landed around 4 am at the airport.

All the passengers inside the aircraft disembarked and were lodged at Transcorp Hilton hotel, Abuja.

BA are you the only one flying to SA that morning or is this a cover up for a technical fault on the plane? Admitting such a fault is bad for business hence some phantom bad weather.

What an utterly pathetic excuse for journalism.
‘The former apartheid enclave’ as you call it is the Republic of South Africa.
It isn’t, and never was, an ‘enclave’, clearly you don’t know the meaning of the word.
You want to have a cheap shot at white South Africans by using this terminology, it just makes you look foolish, and you perpetuate the perception of your own inferiority and sense of victimisation.
