The Olubadan of Ibadan, Oyo state in western Nigeria, Oba Samuel Odulana, Odugade 1 is dead.
TVC news announced the Oba’s passage in its bulletin Tuesday night.
There has been no official confirmation of the death.
Oba Samuel Odulana the 40th king of the ancient town, ascended the throne in 2007.
He celebrated his 100th birthday in April 2014.
