Africa’s club champion, TP Mazembe has lost its first match of the Club World Cup in Japan.
In a match played today at the Osaka Nagai Stadium, they went down 0-3 to Sanfrecce Hiroshima. Two of the goals came in the second half.
In the first match played today, Club America from Mexico, also lost to Phil Scolari coached Guangzhou Evergrande, 2-1.
Mazembe will next meet Club America for the fifth place on Wednesday, 16 December.
