Fire has reportedly gutted the plank market in Oko Baba, Ebute Meta In Lagos.
Firefighters are battling to contain it, the Lagos TVC said.
The market abutting the lagoon, supplies the bulk of the wood needs of the metropolis and has in the past been ravaged by fire.
