Nigeria’s semi-final opponents in the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile, will not be known until tomorrow after the completion of the quarter-final match between Mexico and Ecuador.
Both Mexico and Ecuador will battle it out at 9pm Nigerian at Estadio Francisco Sanchez Rumoroso in Coquimbo, ahead of the fourth quarter-final duel between Belgium and Costa Rica.
The semi-final will take place in Concepcion on Thursday.
Nigeria, the defending champions emphatically qualified for the semi-final, beating Brazil 3-0, with goals from Victor Osimhen, Kingsley Michael and Udochukwu Anumudu, all within five minutes in the first half, in the match played at Estadio Sausalito Vina Del Mar.
