Oyo Tribunal Judgement: Security Tight in Ibadan

As the three-man panel, headed by Justice Mohammed Aliu Mayaki, delivers its judgement today on the Oyo State governorship election of April 2015, security is very tight in Ibadan, capital of Oyo State.

From Gate area of the city to Challenge, Mokola and Dugbe, security personnel were heavily deployed. At Iyaganku, venue of the tribunal, security operatives comprising Police, SSS and Civil Defence were on ground screening every passer-by.

Security is tight as political supporters were barred from entering court except those who have business there. Journalists were thoroughly screened. Roads leading to the court were secured too.
