Soyinka Inaugurates Foundation

The Wole Soyinka Foundation will be inaugurated at 11 am on Saturday 24 October 2015 at the Cultural Centre, Kuto, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

It is a residential fellowship for the arts, research and creativity.

According to the mission statement, the aim is to bring writers, artistes, scholars, researchers and other creative thinkers together in “an optimally conducive environment for reflection and creativity.”

Foundation Fellows will spend a few days, weeks or months at a time “at a time during which they are free of all constraints…”
