The French news agency, AFP has reported fresh multiple bomb blasts in Maiduguri, capital of the Nigerian North East state of Borno, quoting residents.
And another Nigerian, reported of the deployment of soldiers to Aloa Dam near the city to battle insurgents.
Blasts were reported in the Kayamla Dalori neighborhoods and along the road from Bama.
Casualties yet unknown.
On Independence Day October 1, five suicide bombers had stormed the city, killing no fewer than 14 people with 39 others injured.
On Friday, Boko Haram also bombed Nyanya and Kuje, the suburbs of Abuja, the Nigerian capital. About 18 people died, including the bombers.
