A 35-year old man, Fatade Adebosayo, has lost his teeth after he was attacked by Nnamdi Samuel, a suspected thief who allegedly went into his apartment to steal and was caught . This happened at about 9 pm at 7 Oje Abu Street, Ijododo in the outskirts of Lagos where Adebosayo resides.

TheNEWS gathered that Samuel who lives at 6 Oje Abu street in the same street broke and sneaked into Adebosayo’s apartment to steal. Unknown to Samuel, the owner of the house, Adebosayo, had returned from work and met him inside his room.

Before Adebosayo would ask him what he was doing inside his apartment, Samuel suddenly attacked Adebosayo, rained blows on him and he lost control and fell down. In the process, Samuel knocked off his victim’s teeth and escaped.

The matter was reported at Isheri Oshun Police division and Samuel was later arrested and taken to the station and later charged before the Magistrate’s court sitting in Ejigbo with felony and inflicting of wound under the Criminal Code. He pleaded not guilty. In his defence, Samuel told the police he had not stolen anything yet before Adebosayo entered and he had to escape by attacking him.

The presiding Magistrate, Mrs J.O.E Adeyemi, granted him bail in the sum of N50, 000 with one surety in like sum. He was remanded in prison custody at Kirikiri pending when he would perfect his bail condition. The matter was adjourned till 12 October 2015.
