Wife of Nigeria’s president, Mrs Aisha Muhammadu Buhari has appealed to care-givers in orphanage homes to pay greater attention at every stage of growth of the children to properly develop their capacity for a stable future.
Mrs Buhari was speaking in Gwagwalada ,Abuja where she joined children of Giri Orphanage Home for the sallah celebration .
She said it was very important to take proper care of the children by showing them love and care so that they become future leaders in their own right like any other child in the country.
The wife of the president expressed optimism that necessary attention will be accorded by government in improving facilities at orphanage homes to meet the required standard .
The permanent secretary of the Federal Capital Territory administration, John Chukwu said the motherly gesture of the wife of the president was a morale booster that will have positive impact on the children .
