R-L: Garba Deen Muhammad, new President; Funke Egbemode, new Vice President West and Steve Ayorinde Deputy President
This afternoon, Mr. Garba Deen Mohammad was unanimously adopted as the new President of the Nigerian Guild of Editors in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State. He replaced Mr. Femi Adesina who was appointed Special Adeviser, Media and Publicity by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Also adopted at the Guild Conference today are Mr. Steve Ayorinde as the Deputy President (to replace Muhammad, former Deputy President) and Funke Egbemode, Vice President, West to replace Ayorinde.
