Boko Haram has bombed Maiduguri again, the third time in the last 24 hours that the militants would stage an attack on the north eastern Nigerian city.

The bomb went off in the Gamboru market, killing at least four persons, according to early report.

It was the third bomb attack on the city of two million people.

On Saturday a suicide bomber blew himself up inside a mosque after Boko Haram militants attacked the outskirts of the city overnight. At least 29 people were killed.

Earlier on Saturday, the militants, using rocket propelled grenades, hit several homes in the city, before being repelled by the military and the civilian vigilante group.
