Obasanjo lauds Nigerian voters, says better days ahead

Former Nigerian President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, has lauded the electorate for their patience and commitment to the peaceful conduct of the election.

Obasanjo, who arrived at his polling centre 21, ward 11 in Abeokuta North Local Government Area of the State was accredited at about 10: 30am this morning.

Speaking with newsmen immediately after his accreditation,the Balogun of Owu Kingdom lauded the voters for coming out in large number at his unit to cast their votes.

Ebora Owu as fondly called said that Nigeria is getting it right with the 2015 general elections, adding that better days are ahead in the country.

He asserted that subsequent polls in the country would be better with improvement.

Also, the incumbent governor in the State and the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Ibikunle Amosun and who is seeking re – election arrived his polling unit 004 at St John’s Nursery and Primary School, Ajura ward 4 in Obafemi Owode Local Government Area of the State early today.

Amosun,who was on the queue with other people, was accredited at aboutĀ  1:05pm.

His wife, Olufunso was accredited few minutes later.
