Senator Sale Danboyi, the Director General of the campaign organization of Darius Ishaku, the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate for Taraba state has died.
He died on Friday at the Federal Medical Centre in Jalingo.
Danboyi who was a former deputy governor of the state was aged 62.
In a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary, Taraba Government House, Alhaji Hassan Mijinyawa, the acting governor of the state, Alhaji Sani Danladi, commiserated with the family of the deceased, saying he will be remembered for his consistency in promoting justice and fairness among people in the state.
The governorship election is due in the state on 11 April.
